As we are solicitors and solicitor advocates we can and do represent our clients in the supreme courts. This expertise means clients have direct access to counsel which reduces cost and increases the effectiveness of representation. This type of seamless service is normally only available from the large commercial firms.

John Carruthers

Director & Solicitor
John is a director of Oracle Law . He is a solicitor advocate who has rights of audience in both the higher civil and criminal courts in Scotland. John has been qualified for over thirty years. John obtained his LLB and LLM from Strathclyde University. John practices mainly as a commercial litigator. His clients include large and small commercial organisations, SME’s and individuals. John is also instructed by many of his professional colleagues either to act on behalf of their clients or for them personally.

Colette Kerr

Director & Solicitor
Colette is a solicitor and one of the directors at Oracle Law. Colette qualified as a solicitor in 1992 having studied for her LLB Honours Degree at the University of Strathclyde. Colette has practised in the areas of family and criminal law, civil litigation (including debt recovery). Since 2010 Colette now specialises in family law dealing with separation agreements, divorce , disputes involving children and adoptions. In her spare time, Colette enjoys running and fitness training, travelling and likes to spend time with her family and friends.

Stephen Mullan

Solicitor
Stephen qualified longer ago than he cares to remember and holds an Honours and a Masters Degree in Law. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in teaching. In addition to practicing law he has lectured, mainly in property law and succession. He is a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Risk Management and Governance. Stephen now focusses primarily on property law and Trust and Succession law. In his spare time he plays music and sings in pubs and jam sessions across Glasgow

Monica McCann

Solicitor
Monica qualified as a Solicitor in 1990 having studied for her LLB Degree at Strathclyde University. Monica specialises in residential conveyancing, dealing with sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of title and equity releases. In her spare time Monica likes to spend time with her family and friends, enjoys reading, playing golf, going to the cinema and travelling.

Natalia Rogolska

Private Client Solicitor
Natalia is a Private Client solicitor at Oracle Law. She advises individuals and families on a wide range of private client matters, including the preparation of Wills, succession planning, administration of estates and adults with incapacity matters including Powers of Attorney. Natalia completed her legal studies at University of Aberdeen where she undertook a dual Scots and English law degree. Her approach is always tailored to best address each client’s needs and circumstances, which allows her to develop a relationship of trust with her clients. In her spare time Natalia enjoys scoping out Glasgow’s restaurants, taking her dog for long walks and travelling.

Nicola-Jane Campbell

Solicitor
Nicola-Jane is a solicitor at Oracle Law. Nicola-Jane qualified as a solicitor in 2009 having studied for her LLB Honours Degree at the University of Glasgow. During her traineeship and after qualification Nicola -Jane practiced in the area of civil litigation until 2015 advising clients on dispute resolution, employment matters and heritable repossessions. Nicola-Jane now specialises in residential conveyancing, dealing with sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of title. In her spare time Nicola-Jane likes to spend time with her family and friends and enjoys travelling.

Katharine Smith

Conveyancing Solicitor
Katharine is a solicitor in our Residential Conveyancing team. She studied at The University of Glasgow and qualified as a solicitor in 2003 and therefore has over 20 years’ experience acting in the purchase and sale of residential properties throughout Scotland. Having lived and worked in Glasgow throughout her career she knows the market in the southside of Glasgow and East Renfrewshire particularly well. Katharine is a life-long supporter of the Glasgow Tigers speedway team and enjoys going to see musicals, most recently & Juliet in the west end of London.

Lesley Thompson

Office Manager
Lesley is our office manager at Oraclelaw’s Bishopbriggs office. Lesley has been working inthe legal sector for over 24 years. Lesley has experience working in residential conveyancing, commercial and private client areas of law. In her spare time Lesley enjoys travelling, walking and spending time with family and friends.

Lewie Dawson

Trainee Solicitor
As a student, Lewie worked at our Bishopbriggs office as an administrator assisting Jenna and Lesley. Now, after completing his studies, Lewie has commenced his solicitor traineeship with us.

Chloe Craig

Receptionist & Admin Assistant
Chloe the receptionist/admin assistant at our Bishopbriggs office. Chloe previously worked for Hennessy Bowie & Co and then joined Oracle Law in October 2022. Chloe has many year’s experience working as a receptionist. In her free time Chloe enjoys holidays abroad and socialising with friends and family.

Sofia Fraioli

Receptionist
Sofia is a receptionist at Oracle Law in Clarkston and is the first point of contact with our clients. Sofia assists with conveyancing administration and helps with tasks around the office. Sofia has completed first year law at Aberdeen University and is looking to continue her studies this year in Glasgow. In her spare time Sofia likes to spend time with her friends and family and enjoys travelling.

Grace McCabe

Law Student & Office Administrator
Grace is an administrator at Oracle Law and is currently in her final year of her law degree. She mainly assists the conveyancing department and on reception she is the first point of contact for new and existing clients. She is a spokesperson for various charities and in her free time she enjoys running, cycling and Munro bagging around Scotland, as well as a city break abroad whenever she has the time. 

Sandy

Office Guard Dog
Meet Sandy, the four-legged guardian of our Bishopbriggs office. Chloe’s loyal companion, Sandy accompanies her to work from time to time and has quickly become an integral part of the team. Don’t let his adorable looks fool you – Sandy’s obvious ferocious nature makes him the perfect guard dog.

Whether he's patrolling the office or spreading joy among the staff, Sandy brings a unique blend of security and cheerfulness to our workplace. His presence ensures that our office is not only safe but also filled with wagging tails and happy vibes.
