How Oracle Law started

Oracle Law was founded in 2009 by John Carruthers, a solicitor advocate who left the Scottish bar to build something different. He had seen an unmet demand for modern, responsive legal services of a high quality at a competitive cost – and set out to deliver exactly that.

The firm has grown steadily since. What has not changed is the approach: a named solicitor who knows your case, advice in plain English, and availability when you actually need us – legal problems do not keep office hours, and neither do we.

Who we act for

Our clients include individuals, families, SMEs, charities and large companies across Glasgow and Scotland. Many come to us for one matter and stay for every legal need in their lives – the first flat, the family matters, the will, the business advice. Other solicitors and accountants instruct us too, for their clients and for themselves. We take that as the strongest endorsement there is.
